Adinkrahene
This garment is inspired by the Adinkrahene symbol, revered as the "king of the Adinkra." Representing authority, leadership, and charisma, Adinkrahene is believed to be the origin of all other Adinkra symbols. These powerful meanings are woven into the garment’s identity, both visually and conceptually.

Knitted on a 14-gauge Shima Seiki machine, the garment was developed following a detailed digital design process. A total of six pieces were produced—four for the sleeves and two for the front and back—five of which were constructed using tubular jacquard knitting. The front panel features a combination of half tubular jacquard and 1x1 back-all structures to accommodate the intricacies of the graphic design.
The back showcases a striking arrangement of multiple Adinkra symbols, echoing the aesthetic of traditional African batik textiles. All components were assembled using a zig-zag stitch along the seams for flexibility and durability. To complete the look, the hem is adorned with layered fringe in vibrant red, pink, and orange yarns, adding both movement and visual depth.
